I just read your article, forwarded to the listserve by the CCOSO education director:  Nice going!  I've been working with sex offenders for 20 years, and haven't seen such a vindictive, misinformed effort to gain headlines at the expense of others in my professional career. As you correctly report, this isn't about protecting our children, it's simply capitalizing on some of our less honorable human traits--like slowing to see the car accident and the ambulance. Thank You for simply telling the truth without the
sugar coating. Just about every person I know has been
persecuted by the sex offender laws, it has to stop.
Homeless people who have homes but can't live in them
because of the "Fools on the Hill". There should be a
law that says "No Bill shall be made into Law that is
not constitutionally sound and Valid". But then I
don't make the laws (good thing Huh!).

Kudos for an absolutely outstanding web site. In a time when most
Americans are blinded by the blatantly false propaganda spouted by the
likes of Oprah, Nancy Grace, and politicians who whore themselves for
votes, this web site is a breath of fresh air.

Trying to educate Americans who would choose to remain in ignorance
sometimes feels like trying to face down a tornado. Thank you for being
one of the few out there that has courage enough to stand up for what
is
right. It helps me to feel that this fight is not as hopeless as it
seems.

Except for the part concerning Asher, your articles seems like I had typed them, like they came right out of my mouth, they are my thoughts, my concerns, and exactly what I think parents and the government should be doing to protect children.

 I know the statistics, I have read all the stories, I have studied all the laws, and I keep up todate with what is stirring on the internet and various groups.  I stumbled onto yours site through geocities. voicism, and I am glad I did.

We need some common sense concerning this issue.

On "Political Chicken Little" WOW, great writing!!! I have held to your basic premise for a long time. When I read "A nations Shame" I was in tears. I was so angry that our government and media are ignoring these facts in order to persecute and "shoot SO fish in a barrel." Of course, I was never able to state my feelings on this matter so eloquently as you did.
