...AND THE WITCH HUNT CONTINUES
March 2007: In Connecticut, a substitute teacher faces 40 years in prison for pornographic pop-ups appearing on her computer while students were standing nearby.
WINDHAM, Connecticut -- Up until recently, Julie Amero says, she lived the quiet life of a small-town substitute teacher, with little knowledge of computers and even less about porn.
Now she is in the middle of a criminal case that hinges on the intricacies of both, and it could put her behind bars for up to 40 years.
She was convicted last month of exposing seventh-grade students to pornography on her classroom computer.

And in Florida......
Two teens are charged with child pornography for taking racy photos of each other. Yes they too will be registered sex offenders. Possibly for life.
On March 25, 2004, Amber and Jeremy took digital photos of themselves naked and engaged in unspecified "sexual behavior." The two sent the photos from a computer at Amber's house to Jeremy's personal e-mail address. Neither teen showed the photographs to anyone else.
Court records don't say exactly what happened next--perhaps the parents wanted to end the relationship and raised the alarm--but somehow Florida police learned about the photos.
Amber and Jeremy were arrested. Each was charged with producing, directing or promoting a photograph featuring the sexual conduct of a child. Based on the contents of his e-mail account, Jeremy was charged with an extra count of possession of child pornography.

Now before ANY of you go breathing a sigh of relief and thanking the Lord that this isn't YOU this is happening to, take a look at this: http://library.findlaw.com/1999/Aug/1/130325.html . AND THIS: http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2006-10-05-sex-offender_x.htm
States across the country are now lifting the "staute of limitations" on sex crimes. I think it is safe to say they most of us can now start shitting our pants. If you’ve ever had a consensual sexual relationship with someone under 18 when you were over 18, it’s time to WAKE up. You might very well be the next person added to growing list of registered sex offenders. Think of all the benefits you’ll enjoy with that label, not to mention a felony charge and record of child molestation or child rape.
Make no mistake, the handwriting is on the wall and it is time for the American public to WAKE UP and STAND UP and say enough is enough. Don’t wait until it happens to you or someone you love.
..AND IN CALIFORNIA, IT PAYS to PROSECUTE FAMILIES
In California a state-funded crackdown on teen sex is quadrupling statutory rape cases in Santa Clara County, sending hundreds of young fathers to trial , destroying the family unit and adding thou$and$ more to the sex offender registry. http://www.metroactive.com/papers/metro/12.18.97/cover/teensex-9751.html
