McCain and Schumer introduce "The Kids Act" 1/30/2007
There's NOTHING more fearsome to politicians than the "TRUTH". Their power, their lifestyles, and private business dealings thrive as long as the public can be bamboozeled and misled. Mainstream media has been in the hip pocket of politicians for a very long time so there has been little worry for them as far as their dirty little secrets and underhanded schemes being brought to light.
But alas evolution has come into play. That pesky little brainchild of the government itself, the internet, has now taken on a life of it's own. Fed up American's and courageous Patriots across the country with a noble agenda to protect the freedoms, the liberties and the very constitution of this Great United States are standing up. And people are taking notice. Alternate internet news sites and blogs are popping up in record numbers. The dam holding back the lies and cover ups has been breached. Now Senator's John McCain and Charles Schumer are stepping up to the plate to stop the flow of truth from reaching the masses. Make no mistake, this is the beginning of the death of the First Ammendment Right to Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Association. THIS is FASCISM. We can no longer call ourselves a FREE society with leaders like this.
The guise, as usual, is protecting the children, when what they are really trying to do is protect their own asses.

Considering that 95% of new sex crimes are NOT committed by people on the sex offender registry, this bill does very little to protect anyone. It does however give parents a very DANGEROUS and FALSE sense of safety. Sex offenders are just the stepping stone used to wedge this type of unconstitutional legislation into law. Once again, FEAR is the tactic. There is absolutely NO substitute for parental supervision. Notice how these laws never even address such an important and vital aspect of child safety such as active parental involvement and education?

Given that FACT, HOW is THIS legislation going to protect the children?
The focus seems more on "deleting" and "banning" any and all posts and/ or entire websites which purport actual FACTS regarding sex offenses and their laws because they are contrary to underlying political schemes.
Effectively, this legislation will ban an entire segment of society whether or not their past crimes were even internet related from having internet access. Webmaster's get left holding the bag and the fine (up to $300,000). Basically, it comes down to "shut them up or we'll shut you down". Big Brother In Action.
